I have found a new forums job for someone to do. As the Forums are now F2P people are looking for clans to join Via the Looking for Clan Forum. I want to give someone the specific job of finding people looking for a F2P clan and to tell them about our clan. I think the person who takes this job should be able to persoanly write something to that person instead of all those pre-written invitations. This person would basicaly just write a little about our clan and give the person our qfc.

Who all is doing the forums trial? and should we cap the forums team at 10 members? or do we want to create a 4th god...sir fatehill....XD

As we have more people useing the forums to join (and more people accepting) I think I'll write up a posting people can use. I used to write every single acceptance letter from scratch but the higher volume means we need a form letter.

I'd also like to put up a "security" section on our thread- tips to have?

Also, as we have more people on the forums, do we need a discussion thread?

One last thing...I'd like to limit bumps to either every 5 min or bottom of the page

I beleive Azn. Montycat and Enraikou have all gone through trials for Forums team. I belive they would be a great asset to you.

I sort of made a mock invitation letter which was then edited and enhanced by Smart Coffe8 which is now being used by Badmarine and others to invite new porspects.
I'm sure you could write something better.. but I would like to keep as personal as possible. I hate all the pre written " We think you have what it takes to be our member! " or the "we do Clan Wars, GWD, Castle Wars, Fishing Trawler, Pest Control and much much more! ". I want to keep it profound I'm sure once the person sees our thread they will realise we are a proper clan.

A security section would be good seing as 2 of our members have been hacked in the past little while.

Also we've been getting alot more members and I have been editing this list I made constantly. Also I have some edits we can make to the thread like some things which don't sound right or we don't need anymore. Also there is a cry for a Vidding Team who can film, edit and post videos of clan activities and such on a well known video sharing website
I also think that we could use a section to the Forums team that has a few members (2-3 Max) that will invite people who look like good candidates for our clan

I browsed the 12 pages I missed while being gone. Lots lots bumps I tell you, I have dancing chipmunks running around my desk, they're so happy.

A vidding team. Hmmmm. I'm ok with that, so long as someone creates a separate account for it, as I don't want us watching someone's cat doing pushups or anything (mainly so no one persons personal vids are overly exposed; as a security risk)

I'll see what I can dig up on for a security section. It is a direct response to the recent hackings :p And the j mods in the CLF really can't do anything about those Not a matter of "won't" but of "can't". Apparently Jagex has a very well defined process for account bannings/lockings etc.
Nuts anyway.

We should talk about having a officers meeting every now and then, just to keep everyone on the same page incase they don't check this thread that often. Also, what do you think about "franchising" our clan? Creating a sort of off-shoot for other time-zones managed by capable people we have already in those zones?

Franchising.. ahh that would require alot of members from a different Time Zone for it to be succesful. I would rather try and better our main clan and try to get a bit organised before we go toward other ventures. I will personaly go through each of your post per page and I will edit them to fit our clan in its current day

We have a lot of new members and we need to stay active and have succesful events. Alot of experienced players have also joined us. E P P O, Jeremy and Pur among other people will be returning from their vacations so it will be nice to the old faces among the new

Also clan members agree to a Requirment raising. With the Forums open to F2P and a larger flow of people, it seems that filtering our recruits for more experienced and higher levels would be benificial. Something of about 75+ or 80+ would be sufficent. Some clan members want a 80+ but I suggest a 75+ requirment for Cb. Iw would allow us to test how it goes and see the people who come in. All in all a Requirment change would be good as most of our members if not all are near 75+ anyway. Although all current members including Junior members will not be affected. They can still continue with us and no change will occur for them. This is only for new recruits coming in

It sucks that our members are hopeless to get thier accounts back

A requirement hike...hmmm.

One thing I deeply regret is that I never made a list of all our members cb's, making it impossible to know what our levels are. Doing it now would be long, tedious process- not that it couldn't be done, just that I'm not sure our time would be well spent doing it. (btw, did hush make up the list for the elite army?)

Just let me know if anything needs changing in the thread, I'm happy to discuss anything I've been thinking our "court system" needs an overhaul...it's the one remaining part left over from our desert storm days and needs to be more "readable". Also, please look at the suggestions/complaints section of our site.

I think we should let Kimmie back in She just needs to fill out an application....

Here is what I was thinking concerning spreading out. Zariff has been a good egg with us, but he's unable to attend events, etc. because of where he lives. I'm thinking maybe we should just let him loose and able to recruit more people from his time zone, and give him a moderate amount of control over them. Just so he has someone in the clan from his area. Possible they could meet in his cc?
~I dream of a day when we can have a franchise in several time-zones, with get together once in a while by all the off-shoots.

Yeah it would have been good if we added people cb's right when they joined.. and no Hush didn't make it. I haven't even seen him online.
